Account Representative AHNJ - R (Inside)
The Account Representative will represent AmeriHealth NJ in retaining fully insured and fixed funding small group business and up selling groups into corporate ancillary lines. The Account Representative will be the primary point of contact for external customers and brokers in the 2-50 retention market segment. Main responsibilities will include:
- Working with brokers and customers on recommended plan changes at renewal.
- In addition, this position will work closely with Sales Management on book of business retention strategy along with working close with underwriting and sales operations.
QUALFICATIONS:
· Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Three years of work experience in health insurance/related industry sales or marketing where building relationships is essential.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and facilitate presentations
· Demonstrated ability to function in a high-volume, highly visible, deadline-oriented environment is essential.
· Knowledge of insurance products, services, and administration is recommended
· Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as CRM packages, such as ROAM required.
· Must possess State Health, Life, and Worker's Compensation (where applicable) License examinations.
· Able to work collaboratively with functional areas within segment.
· Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
· Self-motivated and goal oriented.
AmeriHealth has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week and remotely 2 days a week. This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania
