Description

Provider network initiatives lead serves as product owner for provider portal. They will also work with senior leaders across internal functions, and with external stakeholders to create and implement a roadmap for provider portal. This role will represent the provider's perspective with aim to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

            Serve as product owner for provider portal including defining and prioritizing the product backlog.

            Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders. Also owns, defines, and prioritizes the team backlog to ensure scrum teams are working on overall program priorities.

            Participate in daily scrums and development discussions, and proactively engage with development options and opportunities and works to remove roadblocks for the team.

            Continuously gather feedback from users and stakeholders to improve the portal experience specifically ease of use. Utilize KPIs to measure success and identify friction points.

            Serve as a liaison for health systems related to issues and enhancements needed to provider portal in collaboration with provider network services.

            Prepare draft communications, training materials, and user guides, and coordinate the communication plan with Provider Communications.

            Facilitate training for internal stakeholders and high touch provider organizations as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and provider portals is a plus

Skills/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field
