Sales Support Specialist:
- Maintain positive working relationships with customer-facing teams, and teams who have a direct impact on our member’s experience. Areas that impact member experience include Sales, member services or other phone-based teams, web content, mailed content, text, and other forms of direct communication or interaction.
- Continually and independently seek out a better understanding of our member’s direct experience, as well as the responsibilities and challenges of the associates who work directly with them.
- Partner with these teams and develop and execute solutions to problem areas.
- Review and develop content designed to educate and inform both our members and the associates who work with them.
- Participate in projects that impact our member’s experience.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Communications, Marketing related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Two years of work experience in health insurance/related industry sales or marketing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to bring results in a group project.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a deadline-oriented environment is essential.
- Knowledge of insurance products, services, and administration is recommended
- Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is recommended.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car.
- Able to work collaboratively with functional areas within the segment.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
AmeriHealth has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
