Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.

·       10 years of professional work experience

·       At least 5 years of experience in the Health Care Insurance industry or working with health insurance regulations, business practices, and trends.

·       Work experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield and familiarity with their operating model is a definite plus

·       Prior consulting experience and account management a definite plus

·       Demonstrated work experience where building relationships at multiple organizational levels and retaining customers is essential.

·       Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).

·       Passion and energy for supporting change.

·       A deep understanding of Healthcare data and how it is being used by business for analytical and operational purposes.

·       Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

·       A high degree of organizational skill and the demonstrated ability to effectively plan and lead multiple projects is required.

·       The demonstrable ability to rapidly establish  an excellent understanding of the scope and requirements necessary to successfully deliver an implementation project;  including system scope, project objectives, and the role/function of each team member that is required to effectively coordinate all necessary activities.

·       Excellent attention to detail and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and provide resolution for escalated customer and system issues as described. High levels of analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for evaluating data and information.

·       A thorough knowledge and understanding of all areas of business operations and an aptitude for systems and technical capabilities is required. The ability to lead customers through demonstrations and usage of transactional applications is required.

·       Demonstrated desire and ability to establish strong application knowledge and understanding of Company programs, services and products.

·       Demonstrated desire and ability to establish a deep understanding of the Company's development process, including design, programming and quality assurance is essential. Incumbents should also have an excellent understanding of the Company’s web based applications, file transfer methods and reporting capabilities.

·       Travel up to 25%.
