Broker Executive – AHA Partnership
As part of the AmeriHealth Administrators team, the candidate we seek will drive growth for AmeriHealth Administrators national expansion by building a pipeline and sourcing new client opportunities to help us reach our goals of becoming a nationally recognized Third Party Administrator.
- Primarily remote position with required regional (MN) and corporate (PA) office visits
- Strong business development/Sales experience with large group health plan and/or TPA self funded sales with ability to prospect and grow new accounts annually
- Ability to demonstrate a historical track record of performance driving revenue and membership growth with prospects, brokers, consultants, vendors, and partners by securing and closing sales for the organization and successfully setting the sold groups up for success with a leading, experienced Account Management team.
- An aptitude to develop a diverse set of contacts across functions and at all levels of the organization at both AmeriHealth Administrators internally and with prospects, brokers, consultants, vendors, and partners externally to secure the sale.
- An ability to introduce a new solution to a new market for a cutting edge TPA with diverse capabilities. Educate and secure business opportunities across a diverse range of contacts you bring.
- Territories currently include: Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or applicable field, or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years’ sales experience in business, healthcare, ASO/self-funded/TPA health insurance/benefits
- Sales and/or consulting experience with large national employers in deriving successful health insurance/benefits solutions.
- Self-motivated with ability to organize and prioritize sales activities required to successfully execute a consistent Sales Process against a Sales Plan.
- Ability to work across systems and functions within AmeriHealth Administrators and with prospects to facilitate the development of new solutions and capabilities that meet prospect requirements.
- Persuasive oral and written communications skills capable of influencing internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Experience with CRM system
- Active PA (or another state such as OH) State Accident & Health license required. If not available upon date of hire, individual must pass examinations within the first 60 days of employment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car.
