Sr Configuration Solutions Analyst AHA
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
· In lieu of degree, minimum 5+ years proven configuration experience, preferably on Facets, HealthRules, Diamond, Amisys Advance or similar payer system Demonstrated effective project management skills necessary.
· 2+ years HealthCare operations or Healthcare claims processing experience preferred
Job Requirements:
- Must have advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with multiple business systems and have an extensive understanding of system design.
- Strong demonstrated experience using Microsoft office products and project management tools.
- Excellent, proven effective communication and analytical skills required to address and present most complex ideas and concepts to users, business systems analyst and management.
- Must have an advanced understanding of the business environment and associated systems.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Advanced technical writing skills needed.
- Must be able to present findings to management.
- Must be able to create time-lines and work with internal and external departments to gather appropriate information.
- Skills in coaching and mentoring.
- Considerable knowledge of project management tools and business systems methodology. Well versed in best practice process and procedures.
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills necessary to demonstrate and train in business systems solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to define business systems solutions, make decisions, identify problems, coordinate resources and implement changes. Clearly define user training manuals.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate objectives and business requirements. Ability to develop, plan, and create timelines for project life cycle. Proven effectiveness in maintaining project targets and deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently, be resourceful and build teaming consensus for project teams
- Proficiency in Healthcare and Health Plan terminology, medical coding (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD9, CDT, Revenue, DRG and other relevant medical and industry-standard codes)
