This role manages ID Cards, Member Correspondence/Fulfillment.
The Supervisor Enrollment Services' responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Effectively supervises team associates, ensuring that productivity and quality standards, attendance policies, corporate training and performance management timelines are being maintained.
- Facilitates the required research to resolve internal and external customer issues and problems that are deemed sensitive.
- Proactively schedules associates to achieve daily work processing time frames and priorities, tracks problem trends and issues and facilitates solution resolution as required.
- Oversees the timely and accurate completion of all member processing activity received in the enrollment queues, ensuring that all new and ongoing member enrollment is completed according to the customer requirements, departmental and corporate objectives.
- Maintains and executes daily task lists, requirements, fallout and error reports, etc.
- Ensures all workable inventory is being addressed on a daily basis and all controls are being maintained.
- Maintains visibility to the team in the work area.
- Identifies processing activities requiring special approvals and handles accordingly.
- Develops and proposes effective contingency plans for meeting variable volumes.
- Unit achievement of established performance objectives and assists peers with support as needed.
- Coordinates with Quality Assurance team to identify repetitive and/or significant errors, developing corrective action plans for improvement realization.
- Must be able to work required overtime as dictated by business needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including enrollment processing when needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
- College Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the health insurance industry, preferably fulfillment (ID Cards, Correspondence).
- Team Lead experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience dealing effectively with others and being a team player.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and written communication skills
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Familiarity with data processing and the ability to work with documented policies and procedures.
- Excel, Word, SharePoint or a system that logs productivity.
