Research Nurse - AHNJ
Qualifications & Education
- Active RN License
- 3 years clinical experience minimum
- CPC Certification preferred
- Knowledge of ICD10 coding & CMS documentation requirements
Experience, Knowledge, & Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with providers and members.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and detailed oriented
- Must be able to work moderate complexity tasks independently
- Prior relevant health plan experience and/or in provider offices and facilities is a strong plus.
- Must possess knowledge of medical billing, claims processing systems, and health care information terminology.
- Must possess knowledge of the CMS Stars rating program and willingness to remain abreast of any changes to the program that occur
- Must have strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Must have strong analytical, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate strong ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with all levels of a staff and management including senior management
- In lieu of corporate systems knowledge, must have ability to master systems within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to travel throughout all 21 counties in New Jersey required (driver’s license and insured vehicle)
