Description:

The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for developing initial project assessments to build robust project portfolios. They will facilitate the validation sessions with Business Owners and necessary participants, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are aligned. A deep understanding of the PMO Methodology is crucial, to transform business needs into completed ideas with project estimates to guide executive leadership decisions appropriately. Keeping project data current and accurately updating various systems/tools for effective tracking and reporting by management is critical. The role also includes executing the full lifecycle activities of projects, enhancements, and research items on behalf of the Business Owners. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize and improve the usage of the project portfolio management system's capabilities, processes, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in project management, business analysis or a role in IT delivery (Programming for Tools Team) or combination
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies and associated tools
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills to work independently to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills band relationship management abilities; ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments in an organization.
  • Effective communicator and ability to interact with stakeholders and multiple leadership levels (Directors and Managers) within the organization.

 

Hybrid

Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
