Primary point of contact for external fully insured New Jersey customers and brokers
Accountable for the development and execution of the retention strategy for each customer
Works with finance and operational teams to ensure that all account related issues are addressed
Provides professional presentations and/or open enrollments to a variety of audiences in various settings
Understands and meets all strategic retention initiatives and goals, working collaboratively with management
Actively demonstrates comprehensive understanding of the competitive environment and the industry
Responsible for the ongoing account management, including renewals, data analytics, and resolution of service issues
Identifies trends and actively seeks to work for resolution of customer issues within segment
Committed to brand promotion and available after traditional work hours for corporate and client-relationship events
Responsible for maintaining active sales license required for position
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing related field, or equivalent experience
Three years of work experience in health insurance/related industry sales or marketing where building relationships is essential.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and facilitate presentations
Demonstrated ability to function in a high-volume, highly visible, deadline-oriented environment is essential
Knowledge of insurance products, services, and administration required, as is a broad understanding of health insurance funding and rating methodologies within the fully insured market
Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must possess State Accident & Health sales license or obtained with 60 days of hire into position
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car for extensive visits to account/broker locations
Strong strategic and analytical skills as well as strong verbal and presentation skills.
Excellent customer and broker relationships
Able to work collaboratively with functional areas within segment
