College Co-op Student Job Description:

Job Location: 1900 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103

The goal of the Medicare Complaints team is to investigate and resolve all facets of Medicare Advantage member and provider complaints based on Standard Operating Procedures regulated by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Each associate serves as an advocate to the complainant working with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment, generally under time constraints, and has an ability to assess and address complainant needs while providing appropriate expectations. The team ensures all compliance timeframes and regulatory processes are met, and works closely with the Plan's CMS Stars team who, among other processes, is responsible to evaluate quality and customer service measures for Medicare Advantage members.       

 

The Medicare Complaints and Escalation Co-op Student will:

·       Support the Medicare Complaints and Escalations Team with a primary focus on analyzing and interpreting historical and current complaint details, providing insights on operational impacts, trends, process gaps and identifying opportunities to improve the member experience.

·       Create and produce reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.

Qualifications:

·       Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge level.      

·       Strong analytical, communication and critical thinking skills.

·       Able to creatively present data insights in a comprehensive, concise, logical, and easily digested format.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

 

 Preferred Majors:

Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics          

 

Preferred Classification:

Junior, Senior or Recent Graduate  

 

GPA:

3.4+
