College Student Job Description:

The college student will have responsibility of the following deliverables: • Using established procedures to correctly identify and input premium & non-premium payments into the corresponding systems • Transmit checks via Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) and/or Virtual Lockbox depending on payment type • Ensure timely research and application of payments generated on daily exception report in alignment with peak and off-peak periods (i.e., Open Enrollment) • Daily retrieval and review of bank statement to identify ACH/Wires remitted to be applied within the AR system • Research and resolve inquiries in accordance with internal SLAs • Keying of AmeriHealth Administrator (AHA) provider overpayment refund checks into the AHA Refund Database • Suggest, develop, and implement efficiencies across various workflows • Identify process gaps associated with key deliverables • Projects will be assigned as needed.

Required Skills:

·       Must Effective communication and collaborate with management and above

·       Ability to manage competing priorities which are deadline driven

·       Able function in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis to details

·       Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

·       Treasury experience in Healthcare / Insurance Industry preferred

·       Having knowledge of Web based applications and PeopleSoft experience a preferred

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Must actively engage with team in completion of daily tasks, problem resolution, and strategic planning
