Community Outreach Coordinator (CHIP)

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree is preferred.

Minimum three (3) years’ related experience, preferably in a managed care environment.

Strong organizational, analytical, presentation, written and verbal skills are required.

Must be able to handle multiple and detailed assignments.

Ability to interact with various levels of management and associates within the organization, and identify and coordinate meetings with community and state-related organizations (i.e. state legislative offices, hospital social workers, and social service agencies) is crucial.

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Outlook suite of products, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint is necessary.

Must also be available to work a varied schedule, as outreach events often require some weekend work.

Maintain a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from various sites and/or events.

Bi-lingual is a plus, preferably fluent in Spanish.
