The Government Programs is hiring a Data Insight &Reporting Analyst to join its Government Markets Reporting Team.  This professional will be responsible for data analysis and the development of dashboards and reporting that will be used by the Stars team and Government Markets Reporting to improve Independence’s CMS Star Ratings.
Specific duties:
  • Work with management and department leads in defining business requirements for reporting
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting in Tableau
  • Build and support data extracts required for Tableau solutions
  • Analyze and interpret CMS Stars data (HOS, CAHPS, HEDIS)
  • Statistical Analysis/benchmarking, quality rating forecasting
  • Evaluate systems solutions and process automation
  • Work with internal and external customers to resolve issues

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience
  • Knowledge of working within complex data environments and the ability to manipulate large data sets to identify relevant insights
  • Must have working experience with Tableau and visualization Tools
  • Experience handling and leading Tableau projects
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills required
  • Working experience Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Visio)
  • Knowledge of TSQL and ETL tools (SSIS) is a plus
Additional Preferred Experience
Knowledge in Medicare Advantage and CMS Star Rating
