  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems/Science, related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business or health related field/ commensurate work experience is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Visio) and SQL required.
  • Proficient with Tableau
  • Experience with R an asset
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, ACA, CMS, Risk Adjustment and Part D
  • Knowledge of compliance and audit practices, specifically those related to Medicare Payment and Reimbursements to Plans 
  • Demonstrated ability to define business solutions, make decisions, identify problems, coordinate resources, and implement changes. 
  • Must be able to work independently on projects.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized, detailed oriented and understand corporate objectives
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
  • Ability to follow through on project life cycle while maintaining target deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Independence has implemented a “Hybrid of Choice” model which provides our associates with the flexibility to choose whether to work remotely, work in the office every day, or work in the office on certain days at their discretion. However, management may require our associates to work from Independence’s physical office locations on certain occasions. This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid of Choice” model. While associates may work remotely, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
