This role provides an exciting opportunity to join Vistia Health, a new company in healthcare focused on helping patients and members navigate their way to better health.  Vistia Health will be offering a diverse set of products and solutions providing comprehensive advocacy and navigation for members. The Vistia Health Sales Executive will: 

  • Create and execute sales strategies on all assigned customers and segments for Vistia Health offerings.

  • Partner with senior leadership to establish overall sales and product strategies.

  • Understand and meet all strategic Vistia Health initiatives and goals, working collaboratively with management to drive diversified growth.

  • Develop and maintain a consultative relationship with brokers, consultants, and customers to maximize sales opportunities. Call on existing brokers or potential brokers to solicit new business. 

  • Primary point of contact for external customer and broker relationships on all inquiries regarding Vistia Health suite of products.

  • Responsible for managing inbound lead qualification in partnership with Independence and AmeriHealth teams.

  • Coordinates data and responds to RFPs for prospective customers based on analysis of client utilization, costs, and desired level of service.  Assists with questions regarding functions of underwriting, rating, and proposal development.

  • Maintain sales pipeline, opportunities, meetings, and other key information leveraging CRM

  • Drive new business sales and customer retention for suite of Vistia Health offerings.

  • Responsible for overall customer and consultant/broker satisfaction

  • Deliver strategic and consultative presentations of Vistia Health products to prospects and existing clients for upsells.

  • Conduct open enrollments to a variety of audiences in various settings.

  • Develop tools and strategies for promoting Vistia Health suite of products.

  • Grow existing client business relationships by becoming a trusted advisor

  • Partner with existing Independence and AmeriHealth reps to develop and execute migration plan for existing customers and ensure a smooth transition to Vistia Health

  • Work alongside Independence and AmeriHealth medical Sales and Account Management reps, Product, Underwriting, and Operations to assist in the development Vistia Health products.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operational teams to address Vistia Health offering sales and account related issues.

  • Act as SME (subject matter expert) for suite of Vistia Health products.

  • Develop and maintain a strong awareness of competitors’ concierge and navigation offerings, models, products, and practices to develop and drive competitive sales strategies. Partners internally to disseminate information to key stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Sales, clinical, or operations experience in the self-funded large group market with an understanding of total cost of care and member engagement
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in health insurance or related industry, to include outside sales performance, clinical management, or operations management, preferably in the insurance business including health, managed care, concierge and navigation services, life, and disability.
  • Demonstrated track record in achieving goals
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented as well as above average problem solving, and analytical skills required
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and facilitate presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong working and business relationships.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of health insurance and ancillary products, services, and administration required, as is a broad understanding of health insurance funding and rating methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a high-volume, highly visible, deadline-oriented environment is essential.  Flexibility in a variety of settings and ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and customer expectations to a successful conclusion is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
