Position Responsibilities:
  • Understand the business processes and practices across Sales in across lines of business to develop foundation for growth
  • Address and resolve data integrity inquiries from Sales
  • Perform payout calculations; Process compensation accurately; Adhere to strict deadlines to ensure sales representatives are paid on time and within specific deadlines
  • Analyze and determine sales data and call activity for incentive tracking and reporting
  • Produce standard and ad hoc analysis
  • Provide business analysis to Sales leadership and incentive stakeholders
  • Validate accuracy of internal and third party vendor data and timely delivery of sales reporting updates to inform payment process
  • Work with management and IS to ensure compensation components can be tracked within existing systems to result in little to no manual intervention; Submit maintenance requirements for the system as needed
  • Consult with Sales Officers and Directors on the performance of the sales incentive program
  • Develop and conduct analysis and modeling scenarios to forecast plan performance
  • Design and perform queries to support ad hoc reports using the marketing database to review incentive performance data
  • Report performance metrics for Sales segments – frequency may vary (weekly, monthly , quarterly, annual)
  • Coordinate and implement incentive system or marketing database changes with other internal departments, such as Information Systems
  • Support projects and training as needed
  • Perform other duties as required



Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years' relevant experience
  • Self-directed and able to exercise a high level of independence and accountability
  • Responds to non-routine problems using independence judgment and ensuring program integrity and consistency of administration
  • Flexible and able to act quickly under pressure
  • Ability to create queries/reports and evaluate data
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced MS Word, Access and Excel Skills
  • Maintains confidentiality while handling sensitive information
  • Exercises sound judgment
  • Process-oriented, proactive and customer-focused
  • Demonstrated comfort working in a cross-functional, matrix-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to influence others
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or Sales Logix a plus, but not required
  • Sales Operations experience a plus, but not required
