Senior Data Warehouse Analyst (Hybrid)

The Senior Data Warehouse Analyst determines business requirements by working with business clients and recommends appropriate business system applications; Recommends systems criteria and project scope; Identifies potential problems, performs analysis and implements system enhancements, modifications and upgrades; Primary contact to define business system requirements, prepare source to target mapping and functional requirements documents; Performs investigation, evaluation and documentation of system design findings; Evaluates and analyzes coded data elements and recommends changes needed; Assures that users understand business system functions; Performs User Acceptance Testing and assist business users in testing; Mentors Junior resources in the team.
Position Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or Business Administration or equivalent work experience; Master’s in Business Administration is a plus.
- A minimum of six years’ experience in working as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong system/data analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Data Warehouse experience is needed.
- Working knowledge of at least one database product (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or other).
- Experience in writing SQL (Structured Query Language) statements.
- Understanding of data integration and ETL methodologies.
- Exposure to at least one Health Care business area, such as Actuarial, Finance, Underwriting, Claims Processing, Enrollment, or Provider preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective facilitation and presentation skills necessary to demonstrate business systems solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to define business systems solutions, make decisions, identify problems, coordinate resources and implement changes.
- Excellent teamwork.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn new or existing systems quickly.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
Hybrid
Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
