Qualifications:

·     A BA or BS in instructional design, instructional technology, education, educational technology or related field at time of application.

·     An earned Master's degree in instructional technology, instructional design, educational technology, or education preferred

·     Five (5) years’ experience in eLearning/online course development or basic web development (can be concurrent with below.).

·     Five (5) years’ experience in customer service/support (can be concurrent with above).

·     Demonstrated expertise with respect to learning management software (preferably Oracle Taleo Learn), online development software, and online delivery and communication tools.

·     Teaching, training or staff development experience.

·     Expert with the principles of universal design for learning and how to make eLearning accessible for all learners.

·     Strong experience related to the management and execution of learning and development programs.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements:

·     Expert in instructional design methodology (ADDIE), eLearning and web development, and adult learning theory.

·     Excellence in writing, oral communication, customer service and interpersonal skills; including instructional, facilitation and presentation skills.

·     Detail orientation.

·     Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·     Leading by example and fostering relationship across the organization.

·     Excellence in explaining complex issues in a concise manner across the enterprise

·     Highly-developed organization skills.

·     Ability to concurrently manage multiple assigned tasks.

·     Demonstrated ability to working independently with minimal guidance and a high degree of accuracy.

·     Expertise in managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.

·     Expertise in principles of best practice related to online learning and classroom-based teaching.

·     Excellence in the documentation of time, effort, processes.

·     Expert in assessment of instructional needs in order to recommend appropriate approaches/applications/tools.

·     Expertise in navigating the web and using web-based tools to facilitate work, learning, collaboration, productivity, research, etc.

·     Advanced proficiency in using popular productivity software (MS Office suite) on Windows operating system.

·     Extensive knowledge in understanding of, and ability to use fundamental web development technologies (e.g.: HTML, CSS).

·     Expert in understanding of technical standard for eLearning content (SCORM).

·     Intermediate to Advance proficiency in using eLearning development tools/software (e.g.: Adobe CC, LMS, Camtasia, Articulate products, etc.).

·     Highly-developed skill in the use of cloud-based collaboration, support and project management software.

·     Excellence in communicating effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the Academies and with external vendors.

·     Display a commitment to continuous education
