Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience working as a business analyst
  • Must be detail oriented, skilled in problem solving and knowledgeable of insurance concepts and rating techniques.
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of business analysis methods and best practices.
  •  Ability to document accurate business requirements and business process flows.  
  • Basic SQL skills. 
  • Proficiency in insurance concepts and rating techniques is required. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on data and systems issues. 
  •  Exhibits a prescribed level of proficiency across all competencies as defined in the Underwriting Competency Model.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of products (Access, Word and Excel).   Basic knowledge of Underwriting technology and support systems.
