Claims, Billing, and Enrollment
- 2 - 4 years working within a Cash, Billing, Finance or, Operations Department with preferred prior experience in:
- Reviewing of customer invoices, customer setup, and aging results
- Creating a positive external customer experience
- Collaborating with internal partners
- Billing experience in a Healthcare Industry preferred
- Ability to think critically and resolve problems
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi task and prioritize activities
- 1 – 3 years proven work experience in a production environment with preferred prior experience in:
- Researching inquiries received from all areas, inclusive of internal and external sources (e.g. other plans, providers, legal, Sales)
- Researching claims that are paid incorrectly; recovering overpaid and underpaid claim dollars from multiple sources and ensuring all necessary transactional steps are taken to accurately process claim adjustments
- Continuously meeting departmental quality and production requirements
- Math and comprehension skills required.
- Well-developed listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organizational skills and problem solving ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word is required
- Ability to research and investigate information
using multiple sources, operating systems and documented guidelines
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the health insurance industry with preferred prior experience in:
- Reviewing enrollment submittal requests Focusing on combination of production and quality goals.
- Familiarity with data processing and the ability to work with documented policies and procedures. ECS, INSINQ, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Avaya or a system that logs productivity
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with others and have a willingness to be a team player
- Takes initiative to check questions or unusual situations in accordance with established guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
