The work combines both analytical and technical skills and utilizes tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and other business intelligence platforms to support data-driven decision-making.

 

Co-op Job Description

The Co-op will support reporting and analytics initiatives by querying and analyzing data, developing dashboards for operational teams, and collaborating with stakeholders on reporting projects and business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and validating operational reports and dashboards
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support data quality reviews and reporting validation efforts
  • Document reporting processes, business requirements, and metric definitions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide analytical insights
  • Participate in process improvement and reporting automation initiatives
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss reporting projects, requirements, and outcomes

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, including the ability to query, extract, and validate data
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, filtering, and lookup functions
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Understanding of data analysis concepts, reporting methodologies, and performance metrics
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple business systems, reporting platforms, and data repositories

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
