College Coop: Accounting Analyst
College Co-op Student Job Description:
The Corporate Accounting Shared Services team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Works cross functionally with operations and other finance departments to ensure that accounting guidance is consistently applied to all initiatives and business operations.
The College co-op student will Support the team with month-end close processes such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, various reporting, and special projects. Interacts with multiple functional areas within Corporate Accounting with an emphasis on National Business/Government and Fully Insured Revenue team. Participates in Corporate Accounting Town Hall meetings and events.
Required Skills:
· Must be an accounting major who has completed at least 2 to 3 accounting classes.
· Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
· Information Systems courses a plus
