Data Insight & Reporting Analyst
Description
1. Provide technical and task leadership and guidance to Operations Analysis staff.
2. Address the most problematic and complex Operations Analysis assignments.
3. Devise and maintain all reports for management and business partners and ensure that they have transparency and are education regarding operational information.
4. Translate statistical data into trends and projections of operational and future financial performance.
5. Devise and provide analytical and decision support measurement models to management and business partners, e.g. production data, PMP costs, staffing, equipment usage., etc.
6. Target and propose operational and financial areas for continued improvement and efficiency. Manage associate project to achieve target results.
7. Collaborate with business leadership to understand financial and business performance to result in well informed decisions.
8. Serve as a trusted advisor to management in supporting and attaining their business objectives.
BA/BS in Business Administration, or related analytical discipline, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training. Seven (7) or more years of progressively more responsible experience in quantitative analysis, Operations Analysis, or comparable discipline and business activity. Extensive Knowledge of Operations Analysis methods, statistical analysis, financial and management reporting, and project management practices and methods, project life cycles, and business solution development and implementation. Demonstrated communication and analytical skills sufficient develop and convey complex ideas and concepts to client management and executives. Working Knowledge of assigned business unit's objectives and overarching corporate objectives. Working Knowledge of technical leadership and project leadership practices. Extensive Knowledge of MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Working Knowledge of Word and Outlook. Working Knowledge of other reporting and database applications associated with the business activity. Extensive Knowledge of Project Management software applications.
