Lead Business Systems Analyst
The Product Owner for Provider Information Exchange (PIE) is responsible for defining and delivering the vision, strategy, and roadmap for operational technology capabilities that enable efficient processing of the PIE application capabilities and the use of the PIE-sources Provider data by integrated / downstream consumer apps and processes. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value. The Product Owner will champion adoption, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
· Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for PIE capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational excellence.
· Identify and manage cross-product and cross-organizational dependencies to deliver integrated solutions.
· Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product evolution.
Requirements & Delivery
· Gather, document, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for enhancements or new builds.
· Partner with development teams to design, build, and implement solutions, ensuring rapid and high-quality deployment to production.
· Serve as the voice of the customer during development cycles, ensuring solutions meet user needs and deliver business value.
Backlog Management
· Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, balancing strategic initiatives with operational needs.
· Evaluate product progress at each iteration and adjust priorities based on feedback and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, technology, and business units.
· Facilitate regular communication and alignment sessions to ensure transparency and shared understanding of priorities.
Adoption & Continuous Improvement
· Act as a product champion, driving adoption and engagement across the organization.
· Collect and analyze user feedback and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Testing & Quality Assurance
· Define testing scenarios, perform initial User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate end-user testing.
· Ensure solutions meet quality standards and deliver a seamless user experience.
Support & Incident Management
· Provide user support during testing and production incidents, proactively communicating status and resolution plans.
· Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
· Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT preferred, or minimum 10+ years proven work experience in an provider ecosystem
· Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills are required to covey complex ideas and concepts to users, team members and management.
· Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and detailed oriented with demonstrated leadership skills and above average analytical skills with the ability to persuade, negotiate and resolve issues while maintaining project support.
· Understanding of system design, multiple system integrations and analysis.
· Knowledge of Operations processes and technologies is required, knowledge of project management tools, Agile, and business systems methodology preferred.
· Product owner knowledge/experience preferred
· Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus.
