  • Submission of our Affordable Care Act (ACA) enrollment and claims data to CMS.
  • Supporting management with reconciling of all data supporting Risk Adjustment by providing quantitative/qualitative reporting analysis of our commercial risk adjustment programs.
  • Using tools including, MS Visual Studio, SQL Server and Tableau, to develop clear business specifications, troubleshoot and recommend solutions to improve the quality of management reporting for the Commercial Risk Analytics Team.
  • Participate in various corporate wide projects that will drive system initiatives and database projects.
  • Support lead analyst in data quality analysis and/or reconciliation
  • Research data warehouse to derive insights to ACA membership
  • Create meaningful Visualizations and Dashboards in Tableau to provide management key insight
  • Evaluate systems solutions and process automation.
  • Design and write Queries/Stored Procedures to provide efficient reporting to management
  • Track enrollment and claims
  • Throughout CMS submission cycle
  • Interact with outside vendors in a timely, appropriate manner
  • Maintain all internal Models and Procedures to adjust for CMS guidance or other assumptions
  • Developing adhoc stakeholder reporting
  • Conduct requirements presentation reviews and obtain requirements approvals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and solve inefficiencies in day to day operation to improve cross-department initiatives
  • Perform specific duties of the Sr.BSA as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Science, Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Five (5) or more years of progressively more responsible experience in a similar role
  • Experience analyzing large datasets, expert technical experience in SQL programming and data management skills including data development, ETL, QA, and sophisticated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience with Tableau or other data visualization software programs
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience dealing with internal and external customers
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills required Qualified Skillset
  • Knowledge of Data/Management Science Methodologies such as, but not limited to: Data Mining, Text Mining, Simulation/Optimization, Data Visualization and Process Scripting
  • Advanced Programming proficiency in SQL
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experienced in using Data Visualization software such as: Tableau, Power BI
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills required
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have above average analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to manage complex tasks in addition to possessing excellent organization, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate and resolve issues.
  • Ability to define complex business issues and determine "best fit" solutions.

  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints is necessary, as well as a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, be adaptable, and learn new tasks and functions quickly.
