Senior Executive Assistant plays a critical role in navigating day‑to‑day complexities, managing competing priorities, and enabling executive effectiveness in a fast‑paced, highly confidential environment. This is a unique, high‑visibility opportunity to serve as a trusted partner to the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer for Independence Health Group, supporting enterprise‑wide Growth, Strategy, Strategic & Project Portfolios, Continuous Improvement, and Transformation across IBX and Family of Companies.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional judgement, executive presence, and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization. This role requires a proactive, adaptable professional who can manage multiple workstreams, anticipate needs, and safeguard sensitive information while supporting strategic initiatives that impact the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive & Strategic Support
    • Partner closely with the EVP, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, to manage a dynamic calendar, balancing internal leadership meetings, strategy sessions, external engagements, and Board-related activities.
    • Prepare high‑quality presentations, briefing materials, spreadsheets, and correspondence with minimal direction, often supporting growth, strategy, and transformation initiatives.
    • Anticipate executive needs and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Meetings, Boards & Governance
    • Plan, organize, and execute meetings, including leadership team meetings, strategy reviews, growth forums, and enterprise project updates.
    • Provide support for Board and Board Committee meetings as applicable, coordinating with Legal and other stakeholders to gather materials and upload documentation into Diligent.
    • Ensure all meetings and required preparation sessions are scheduled on the EVP’s calendar with appropriate lead time.
  • Coordination & Scheduling
    • Maintain cadence and scheduling for direct reports, cross‑functional leadership teams, peer C‑suite and EVPs, and external partners.
    • Support enterprise‑wide meetings such as strategy town halls, leadership off-sites, and transformation updates, coordinating logistics and presentation materials.
  • Communication & Relationship Management
    • Serve as a key liaison between the EVP and senior leaders across Independence, IBX,  as well as external stakeholders.
    • Navigate incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, using sound judgment to prioritize, delegate, or respond appropriately.
    • Represent Independence Health Group and the EVP with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Administrative & Operational Excellence
    • Arrange complex travel plans, accommodations, and itineraries.
    • Process expense reports, vendor payments, and purchase requisitions through PeopleSoft.
    • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive strategic, financial, and organizational information.
    • Perform non‑routine tasks requiring independent judgment and decision‑making.
    • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience supporting senior‑level executives (EVP/C‑suite preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and maintain confidentiality
  • Customer‑focused professionalism and strong executive presence
