Talent Management (TM)/Employee Relations (ER) Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 support for Employee Relations and Performance Management inquiries, ensuring efficient intake and resolution of issues.
- Assist in creating and maintaining organizational charts for the company, both at a high-level overview and detailed versions, as requested.
- Gather employee data and support Talent Management with ad hoc reporting requests.
- Prepare severance agreements and related documentation, including overseeing DocuSign administration for agreement delivery.
- Assist with coordinating the administration of the Pathways program.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining compliance with labor law updates, including changes to posters, disclosures, and annual labor law notifications.
- Facilitate exit interviews for associates; document findings, prepare reports, identify trends, and escalate issues as needed.
- Assist with the administration of unemployment claims and ensure timely processing.
- Support Corrective Action documentation by tracking reports, performing QA reviews for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Assist with the administration and communication of Corporate Policies across the organization.
- Process voluntary termination requests and generate weekly multi-state termination reports.
- Monitor and resolve any issues within the Equifax I-9 system to ensure compliance.
- Assist with SOC2 and CMS reporting annually and upon request.
- Collaborate on HR Operations and Talent Management team projects, offering administrative and organizational support.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team goals and organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate Degree recommended; Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to research issues & follow up with accurate information to associates
- Ability to handle confidential & sensitive information.
- Past experience working in a Human Resources department preferred.
Hybrid:
Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
