Summary of Job Duties
- Reviews ID cards and verifies accuracy.
- Confirm benefits on detailed benefit templates.
- Takes initiative to check questions or unusual situations with management in accordance with established guidelines.
- Ensures thorough and timely completion of request for ID cards.
- Investigates requests from internal customers for special handlings, investigation of status of ID cards.
- Handles ID card request received via system from other departments.
- Notifies the Manager of situations that will impact access to Care for Customers.
- Responds to and resolves all inquiries in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
- Maintains established quality and quantity production Standards.
- Demonstrates initiative in clarifying and exploring unusual requests.
- Elevate issues and risks in a timely fashion to achieve resolution and mitigation.
- Provide routine status reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Summary of Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in the health insurance industry with a combined focus on production and quality.
- Demonstrates ability to deal effectively with others and have a willingness to be a team player.
- Able to multitask, adapt to changing environment, willing to change priorities, ability to adhere to procedures and guidelines, review card ID detail, demonstrated professionalism.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven team
- Working knowledge of how benefits are constructed
- Ability to learn new things
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Problem solver and self-starter
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to accurately handle multiple and varied activities simultaneously
- High School degree or equivalent.
