Manager Application Development Services
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent experience
· Minimum 1-year experience in Health Care/Insurance including Member Services/Portal, Enrollment, Provider Management, or Financial Reporting preferred.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical competency area or equivalent.
· Ability to communicate with senior level ISD and business management on complex technical topics and issues.
· Ability to manage technical personnel on complex assignments.
· Ability to manage within a matrix organization.
· Reputation of trust and competence amongst stakeholders.
· Continuous improvement of IS technical capabilities.
· Record of optimizing personnel and organization structure in alignment with direction.
· Good understanding of Information Systems strategic planning and implementation.
· Organizational skills in managing distributed resources and organizations.
· Builds and fosters a positive IS team and working relationships with stakeholders.
· Staff management including hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating performance.
· Understanding of Project Planning and management
· Understanding of multiple System Development Life Cycle methodologies and best practices, including testing.
· Ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, track results and adjust.
· Ability to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. A track record of improving cost efficiency.
· Willingness to challenge status-quo and apply new approaches and ideas to fulfill objectives.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
