Member Correspondence Specialist
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Prior writing experience or work in a correspondence unit is a plus.
- Prior claims background a plus-understanding accumulations, i.e. OOP, foreign travel benefits
- Must be able to read & understand the application of benefits
- Research, use references, review claim hx,
- Time Management and organization skills, to work accurately and efficiently, this is a production driven unit.
- Work must be error free, we are writing to our members; our work is quality reviewed
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Must be able to work independently and also collaboratively, focus on adhering to our turnaround time service level agreements while maintaining quality
- Work well under pressure
- First Contact Resolution is very important in our are
- Response to letters must be thorough, answering all questions posed-the member should not have to write in or call in about the same issue
- Ability to document accurately and efficiently
- Detailed Oriented
