Summary: 

The PMO Analyst will support our Resource Manager in optimizing team performance and project alignment. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a go-getter attitude. Critical role in ensuring new project resources are prepared, aligned, and equipped for successful integration into our delivery framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Resource Manager with day-to-day resource activities
  • Support team members in resolving issues and mitigating risks
  • Conduct constructive meetings with resources as needed
  • Facilitate monthly one-on-one check-ins with team members
  • Understand individual project work and basic project management principles
  • Monitor and manage project allocations, ensuring optimal resource utilization
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions and decisions
  • Additional administrative responsibilities as required
  • Coordinate access to systems, tools, distribution lists, training materials, and documentation
  • Responsible for managing end‑to‑end contractor resource recruiting and onboarding processes while ensuring new and existing team members are effectively trained on PMO tools, standards, and methodologies. This position plays a critical part in strengthening project delivery capability by ensuring teams are properly staffed, prepared, and equipped to work within PMO frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in resource project allocation and resource coordination
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate resource needs
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent follow up skills required.
  • MS Office High Proficiency in Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint
  • Undergraduate degree plus 4 years or more experience

Hybrid

Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
