Summer Intern - Risk Analytics
Job Description:
The Data Insights and Reporting Intern will support the Risk Analytics team by solving key business problems regarding Performance Analytics in support of Government Markets. The work will center on better understanding our member population through their entire lifespan with IBX. The intern will have opportunities to explore differentiators around member experience, including ways in which we most effectively manage care, delivering high quality health outcomes. The role involves wide ranging analytic opportunities spanning from dataset and code development to visualization and delivery of strategic recommendations.
This internship emphasizes goal-based analyses, allowing the intern a high degree of analytical freedom to develop their own approach and methodology. The intern will be encouraged to think creatively, explore data from multiple angles, and deliver insights that drive meaningful change.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and coding foundation, preferably SQL
Strong analytical skills, data analysis and presentation.
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and creatively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Majors:
Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, and MPH
