The Supervisor Quality Operations is responsible for overseeing and maintaining high standards of quality in all operational transactions. This role ensures that all processes, transactions, and member interactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The supervisor leads a team, monitors performance, and implements quality control strategies to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the supervisor is expected to proactively identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the quality team in reviewing transactions, documents, and processes for accuracy and compliance.
  • Reassign work based on deadlines and priorities. Escalate staff concerns and issue trends to management.
  • Conduct regular audits, analyze findings, and report results to management, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
  • Train staff on systems and workstreams, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the business areas to resolve quality-related issues, review monthly accuracy scorecards, recommend efficiency and process improvements and identify trends.
  • Develop staff through coaching, training, and annual goal setting; monthly performance evaluations and year-end reviews.
  • Maintain documentation of quality reviews and audit findings, ensuring records are accurate and readily accessible for regulatory inspections.
  • Work with the business areas to implement new quality workstreams.
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving quality standards and compliance throughout the organization.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality control, auditing, or compliance within a health insurance or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, inventory management and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of health insurance, Medicare regulations, claims processing, client setup and the Affordable Care Act.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Sigmify, Front Office System, Health Rules Payor, Tableau and Service Now.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
