  • High School Diploma or equivalent work related experience.  College Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the health insurance industry focused on CMS guidelines, regulations and Medicare Advantage enrollment compliance, and/or operations execution in a Medicare Advantage organization or carrier.
  • Thorough understanding and applying rules associated with CMS guidance and regulations for Medicare Advantage (Chapters 2 and 3) and Part D Prescription Drug Plan, as well as understanding the guidance associated with Medigap and CHIP.
  • General knowledge of Government Markets Enrollment processing and associated systems such as, but not limited to, M360, INSINQ, MARx, ECS, Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate via email.
  • Excellent telephone skills and demonstrated experience in dealing effectively with both calm and irate members and/or their representative(s).
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is very focused, detailed oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills, along with having excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and under tight time constraints/deadlines is necessary, as well as the ability to work in a team environment, be adaptable, and quickly learn new tasks, functions and processes.
  • Demonstrates ability to deal effectively with others and have a willingness to be a team player.
  • Customer focused professionalism required.
  • Familiarity with data processing and the ability to work with documented policies, procedures and guidelines.
