Enrollment Specialist

High School Diploma or equivalent work related experience. College Degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the health insurance industry focused on CMS guidelines, regulations and Medicare Advantage enrollment compliance, and/or operations execution in a Medicare Advantage organization or carrier.

Thorough understanding and applying rules associated with CMS guidance and regulations for Medicare Advantage (Chapters 2 and 3) and Part D Prescription Drug Plan, as well as understanding the guidance associated with Medigap and CHIP.

General knowledge of Government Markets Enrollment processing and associated systems such as, but not limited to, M360, INSINQ, MARx, ECS, Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint, etc.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate via email.

Excellent telephone skills and demonstrated experience in dealing effectively with both calm and irate members and/or their representative(s).

Highly motivated self-starter who is very focused, detailed oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills, along with having excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and under tight time constraints/deadlines is necessary, as well as the ability to work in a team environment, be adaptable, and quickly learn new tasks, functions and processes.

Demonstrates ability to deal effectively with others and have a willingness to be a team player.

Customer focused professionalism required.

Familiarity with data processing and the ability to work with documented policies, procedures and guidelines.
